What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your phone number if you verify it.
- Business details you add to a listing, including photos and opening hours.
- Reviews and comments you post, shown publicly with your display name.
- Messages you send through the contact or quote forms.
- Payment records for paid plans. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type — through Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Why we use it
To run the directory and your account, show listings and reviews, verify details you submit, take payment for plans, answer your messages, prevent spam and abuse, and understand how the site is used.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms (session and security cookies), and analytics cookies to measure site use. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on some forms to tell people from bots.
Emails to businesses
We may email businesses listed in the directory about their listing — for example, to invite the owner to claim it. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who processes data for us
Hosting and security (Cloudflare and our server host), payments (Stripe), analytics (Google, Cloudflare), email delivery, and phone verification by text or voice call. They process data only to provide those services. We don't sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Account and listing data stays while your account or listing is active. Payment records are kept as long as accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your choices
You can see and edit most of your details in your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, use our contact form.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
